I'm so glad she came back home. She fills my life with life!
I knew she'd land a great teaching job. I never dreamed it would be back at MJHS!
The dynamic duo of Shellie and Brian killed it this year at Day Camp! I love watching my kids love God, and love watching them lead others toward loving Him as well.
LOVE the Christmas gift...PLATED! Such good food and so much fun watching her make it!
Way, way, way too many times we think the same thing about things. It's a blast to have a relationship like that with your kid.
I tease her sometimes for needing to use too many words to get to the point, but I still love hearing all the details of the story, and the way she tells it. Junior high students have certainly given us a ton to laugh about!
We share so many points of common interest...food, TV shows, Dunes, food, sun and sand, restaurants and food. I'm so grateful for the connections.
I love when she wants to snuggle. I'm a little terrified when she wants me to carry her upstairs! Dad's getting a little wobbly.
So incredible to have her lead me into God's presence with her voice and instrumental gifts.
Number 1 is a moment. We rode to the middle of Dawson Prairie late at night last summer and starred at the stars while she introduced me to the Bethel song Wonder. This is a moment I will carry with me forever, all the way beyond the stars to heaven.
Shell, I have so many prayers for you. I pray them often as I walk the path in the morning. I remember a time this past year, walking and praying for you, and I had a moment of wondering if God's desires for you are the same as mine. I literally stopped and thought, "Well God, if you have better plans, you love her more than I do, and I have no idea how that it is possible." This dad and your Father beyond the stars could not love you more. You amaze us. You make us so proud. You make us love being alive. The 13th of February will always be one of the most significant days of my existence.
I'm so glad God gave me you!
